The Delta state police command has arrested Ifeanyi Ogbonna, the content creator widely known as Odogwu of Asaba, over the alleged r*pe of a 20-year-old lady.
Ogbonna, 40, was said to have invited the victim identified as Favour Agbro, a nursing student, to Asaba under the pretext of mentoring her in content creation.
He allegedly lured the lady to his hotel room, where he tortured and r*ped her.
Favour, who was traumatised by the alleged assault, recorded a video detailing her ordeal before consuming insecticide. She is said to have passed away while receiving treatment.
Bright Edafe, the PRO of the Delta state police command, also confirmed Ogbonna’s arrest in a post via his X page.
“The Delta State Police Command has arrested a popular content creator, one Ifeanyi Ogbonna, male, aged 40, also populary known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” in connection with the alleged r*pe of a 20-year-old girl,” he wrote.
