Two people have died in separate violent attacks in Barkin Ladi and Riyom Local Government Areas of Plateau State.
The victims were identified as 58-year-old community leader, Daniel Pulle, and Deborah Benjamin Kak, who died from injuries sustained in an earlier attack.
The incidents were disclosed in a statement issued on Monday by Rwang Tengwong, the National Publicity Secretary of the Berom Youth Moulders (BYM).
According to the statement, Pulle, the community leader of Gana-Ropp in Ropp District of Barkin Ladi LGA, was attacked at about 7:55 p.m. on Sunday while returning home on his motorcycle. The group said he was shot near a bridge leading to the community.
