Tinubu Sends Message to Amaechi After Mother’s Death

President Bola Tinubu has expressed condolences to former Minister of Transportation and African Democratic Congress (ADC) vice presidential candidate, Rotimi Amaechi, following the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah Amaechi.

Dame Mary Amaechi died at the age of 89.

In a statement issued on Friday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the late matriarch as a woman of strong faith whose life was devoted to family, service and humanity.

The President acknowledged her commitment to the Catholic faith and praised her for raising children who dedicated themselves to public service. He also said her life reflected values that earned her the respect of many people.
