Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to ending terrorism and banditry across Nigeria, declaring that it is more determined than ever to restore peace and security nationwide.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, made the declaration on Friday in Abuja during the Peace and Security Summit Award.
Represented by the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the SGF, Mr. Aminu Yar’Gaya, Akume said the government remained resolute in tackling insecurity while urging the media to support the effort through responsible and balanced reporting.
