Beauty is what God intended for creation, says Pope Leo XIV, and it allows us to remember that there is something greater than all the daily difficulties.
“Music allows us to enter into ‘what God intended for creation, namely beauty,’” said Leo XIV following a concert given in his honor at Castel Gandolfo on the evening of July 18, 2026. “Music, art, and beauty” represent the “finest aspects of the human condition,” he affirmed.
