National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Senator David Mark, National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola, and other party chieftains on Saturday visited Rotimi Amaechi, the party’s 2027 presidential running mate, to condole with him over the death of his mother, Dame Ezinne Mary Oduah.
The delegation, which included John Aregbesola, paid the visit at Amaechi’s residence in Abuja, where they shared memories of the deceased and offered their condolences.
Similarly, former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Dr Abubakar Malami, SAN, paid a personal visit to Amaechi to extend his compassion and prayers to the family.
Also present was the ADC’s governorship candidate in Adamawa State, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, accompanied by her husband, Professor Ahmed Modibbo.
The visits come shortly after Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), paid a condolence visit to Amaechi over the same loss.
