A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has dismissed reports alleging that President Bola Tinubu and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, have abandoned the party’s governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the August 15 election.
Speaking in Ibokun during a campaign tour of communities in the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency, Oyintiloye described the claims as “false” and the handiwork of opposition elements bent on sowing division within the APC.
He stressed that both Tinubu and Oyetola remain committed to the party’s success in Osun, providing leadership and strategic support to ensure victory.
“President Tinubu and our leader, Oyetola, have never relented in their support for Oyebamiji. Anyone suggesting otherwise is spreading falsehood to mislead the public,” he said.
