Khalifa Rabiu earns N13.2bn dividend as BUA Foods pays shareholders N504bn

Nigerian business executive Isyaku Abdulsamad Khalifa Rabiu has received N13.2 billion ($9.6 million) in dividends from his equity stake in BUA Foods Plc after the food manufacturing giant distributed a total of N504 billion ($364 million) to shareholders for its 2025 financial year.

The dividend, which was paid electronically to shareholders on July 15, reflects the company’s record earnings performance and reinforces BUA Foods’ position as one of the Nigerian Exchange’s biggest dividend-paying companies.

Khalifa Rabiu owns 473.63 million shares in BUA Foods, representing a 2.63 percent stake currently valued at about N444.7 billion ($328 million). His dividend was credited alongside those of other shareholders, including his father and BUA Group founder, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

The bulk of the distribution went to Abdul Samad Rabiu, who received approximately N467 billion ($337.3 million) in dividends, reflecting his 92.64 percent controlling interest in the company.
