The Federal Government on Tuesday unveiled the Credit for Laptops, Internet, Connectivity and Knowledge Digital Devices Programme, a new initiative designed to provide Nigerians with affordable access to laptops, internet-enabled devices and other digital tools through structured consumer credit.
The programme, which is being implemented by the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, is part of efforts to deepen digital inclusion and expand access to technology across the country.
According to the government, the initiative aligns with its broader objective of democratising access to consumer credit, creating economic opportunities and improving the quality of life of Nigerians through responsible borrowing.
Unveiled in partnership with the Federal Government’s Three Million Technical Talent Programme, it is designed to provide eligible Nigerians with affordable financing for laptops, internet-enabled devices and other essential digital tools.
