The Osun State Police Command has arrested a suspected hoodlum following a violent clash between rival factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers in Osogbo that left three security operatives with gunshot injuries.
Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, disclosed this on Tuesday while briefing journalists on the command’s recent operational successes.
The police commissioner recalled that members of a faction of the NURTW staged a protest on July 20 after alleging that the dominant faction prevented their vehicles from accessing a motor park in Osogbo.
