The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the forthcoming Osun State governorship poll, Bola Oyebamiji, has said he spent the last 16 years acquiring practical experience needed to govern the state.
Oyebamiji stated this at the palace of Owa Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Adesuyi Hastrup, in Illesa, Osun State, during the campaign tour of Ilesa East/Ilesa West/Atakumosa East/Atakumosa West Federal Constituency, on Thursday.
The APC candidate, who spoke about his tenure as the Managing Director of the Osun State Investment Company Limited and the period he worked as the State Commissioner for Finance, also noted how he managed to reduce incidents of boat mishaps when he served as the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority.
