Genk break transfer record to sign Durosinmi

Super Eagles forward Rafiu Durosinmi has completed his move to Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk from Italian club Pisa, with the Nigerian signing a four-year contract until June 2030, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The 23-year-old striker joins Genk after a brief spell with Pisa, having previously established himself as one of the most prolific forwards in the Czech Republic during his time with Viktoria Plzeň.

Durosinmi scored 35 goals and provided 10 assists in 86 appearances for Viktoria Plzeň, with his performances in domestic competitions and Europe attracting interest from clubs across the continent.

Genk eventually won the race for his signature, reportedly paying Pisa €10.5m for the striker—a club-record fee.
