Irish football chairman, Darragh MacAnthony, has warned Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice that he would have a 50-year-old body when he reaches 30.
Rice was a part of the England team that won the bronze medal at the recently concluded 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
The 27-year-old scored once and assisted twice in seven games for the Three Lions.
Rice played over 60 matches across all competitions for Arsenal and England during the 2025–26 season, including the World Cup.
“He will be burnt out by 30,” MacAnthony said on talkSPORT about Rice.
“He will have the body of a 50-year-old by the time he is 30!”
