Social media influencer and relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been granted bail by a Lagos State Special Offences Court in a case involving an alleged N69 million fraud.
The court fixed her bail at N20 million and ordered that she provide two responsible sureties in like sum.
Justice Mojisola Oshodi, who presided over the matter, ruled that the sureties must show proof of financial capacity.
The court directed that each surety provide either a three-year bank statement or evidence of a fixed deposit valued at not less than N20 million.
The judge also ordered that Blessing Okoro and her sureties undergo verification through the Lagos State Judiciary’s Bail Information Management System before the bail conditions can be perfected.
During the proceedings, the court sought the defendant’s international passport as part of the conditions attached to her release.
