Former Osun State First Lady, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, on Saturday expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress would emerge victorious in the August 15 governorship election in the state.
She said the APC candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, had the capacity to transform the state.
Mrs Oyetola spoke in Osogbo while leading hundreds of women under the Akoni Obinrin Support Group on a “Walk to Win” rally organised to mobilise support for the APC governorship candidate ahead of the poll.
Addressing supporters after the march through major streets of the state capital, she said the rally was aimed at demonstrating the party’s grassroots strength and encouraging eligible voters to support the APC in the election.
Mrs Oyetola added that Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, possessed the experience and competence required to manage the state’s economy.
