Julius Berger recommits to sustainable urban devt

Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable urban development and environmentally responsible construction through its participation in the Future Cities Summit 2026, organised by the Green Building Council Nigeria in Lagos.

In a statement on Wednesday, the company explained that the event, which was themed ‘Building the Future: Scaling Sustainability for Greener Cities,’ brought together leading stakeholders across the built environment sector to explore innovative and practical solutions for advancing sustainable construction, enhancing urban resilience, and accelerating the transition to greener cities.

According to the statement, the Regional Manager at Julius Berger, Engr. Thomas Christl, was one of the panellists during the plenary session titled Materials, Methods, and Margins: Low Carbon Construction Constraints and Opportunities, held on the second and final day of the summit, while the Risk Officer at Julius Berger, Mrs Shakira Mustapha, represented the company at the event.
