O’tega Ogra emerges as ADVAN new President, pledges to improve engagement with regulators, stakeholders

Advertisers Association of Nigeria, ADVAN, has elected a new Executive Council to lead the association for the 2026–2028 term. The new president of the association is O’tega Ogra, Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on Digital/New Media.

Other officers elected at the association’s annual meeting Thursday in Lagos include: Gloria Nwabuike, Managing Director AACE Foods Ltd as First Vice President; Maurice Igugu, Chief Marketing Officer, The Alternative Bank as Second Vice President; Seni Ogunkola, Vice President Brands and Marketers T2 Mobile as Treasurer; Adeola Amosun, Group Head, Media Tolaram as Publicity Director; and Cassandra Uzo- Ogbugh, Head- External communications, media and partnership, Reckitt Nigeria as Executive Council Member.

Other executive council members are: James Odejimi, Head of Marketing, PZ(HPZ SBU); Martha Ojei Kayode, Head of Marketing, PZ Cussons; Omobolanle Osotule, Head, Brand Marketing and Communication, Airtel Networks; Oge Maduakwu, Head of Marketing and Communication, Samsung Electronics West Africa.
