Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has said his administration has fulfilled 90 per cent of the promises made to the people of the state within three years in office.
The governor stated this on Saturday while receiving the Emir of Rano, Muhammad Umaru, who paid him a Sallah homage at the Government House, Kano.
The disclosure was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by the Director-General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Kano, Sunusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa.
Yusuf said his administration had remained committed to delivering democratic dividends through people-oriented policies and developmental projects across key sectors of the economy.
According to him, significant progress has been recorded in education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, water supply, youth empowerment and economic development.
The governor said the interventions were aimed at improving the living standards of residents and repositioning Kano State for sustainable growth.
