
Swedish club AIK have announced that they have initiated negotiations for the sale of Nigeria’s rising star, Zadok Yohanna and are eyeing a profit of over 130,000 kSEK (about €12,000), after just over a year at the club, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
The 18-year-old joined AIK last summer from Ikon Allah FC of Kaduna on a four-and-a-half-year deal and has impressed since breaking into the first team this season, registering two goals and two assists in seven appearances.
Recent reports have linked the player with a major summer move to top clubs in Europe, and the club has now confirmed it has begun the process of a potential sale.
“AIK Fotboll has initiated negotiations for a sale of player Zadok Yohanna. Current bids indicate a net profit effect higher than Class VIII (i.e. over 130,000 kSEK),” the club said in a statement on Sunday.
