The Federal Government has launched the Government Service Portal (GSP), a digital platform that enables Nigerians to access multiple government services through a single online gateway, as part of efforts to improve public service delivery and the ease of doing business.
The portal, soft-launched in Abuja on Tuesday, was developed by Galaxy Backbone in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The platform is designed to reduce the need for citizens and businesses to visit multiple government websites or offices to access services. Users will be able to sign in once and access an expanding range of services through a single portal.
Government officials said the initiative would reduce service delays, eliminate duplication of information across agencies, improve transparency and strengthen accountability.
