The National Sports Commission and the Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday formally presented the Federal Government’s promised rewards to members of the Super Falcons for winning the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The presentation took place in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of Nigeria’s opening match at the 2026 WAFCON, where the defending champions begin their title defence against Malawi on Tuesday.
The NFF disclosed the development in a post on its official X handle.
“NSC Chairman Shehu Dikko and NFF GS Mohammed Sanusi on Tuesday presented the 2025 WAFCON triumph rewards promised by the FGN to the Super Falcons,” the federation wrote.
Recall the rewards include a cash gift of $100,000 for each player, which has already been paid into their individual bank accounts, and a three-bedroom apartment for each player under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Housing Estate presented to them today.
