Publisher and politician, Dele Momodu, has described former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal, as “confused” and possibly motivated by envy over his recent criticism of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary, which was won by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
Momodu made the remarks on Monday during an interview, where he responded to Lawal’s allegations that the ADC presidential primary was manipulated in favour of Atiku.
Lawal had earlier resigned from the ADC, claiming that the party’s primary process was compromised and did not reflect a genuine democratic exercise.
However, Momodu dismissed the allegations, insisting that no credible evidence had been presented to support them.
