Ahead of 2027 general elections, Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has cautioned Ndi Igbo to avoid wasting their votes in the 2027 elections for President, Senate, Federal House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly seats, emphasising that the Igbos’ votes are crucial to ensuring President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, as their support counts in their own interests.
POLITICS NIGERIA had reported that Peter Obi emerged the Presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC and will be on the ballot come 2027.
However, Soludo maintained that Igbos making Tinubu president for a second term instead of Peter Obi should be their priority.
According to him, “because our votes didn’t count in the first term; we only had five thousand votes, and he won without our support. However, he can also win a second term, but this time, we will contribute to it.”
