Three young men from Plateau State, identified as Kweti Jonathan Menje, Habila Sunday, and Samuel, have been reportedly abducted by terrorists in Kogi State while returning to Jos from Akure, Ondo State, where they had travelled for a business engagement.
The victims, all residents of Jenta Adamu, a community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, were said to have been kidnapped on Monday when the assailants intercepted the vehicle they were travelling in and whisked them, along with other passengers, to an unknown location.
According to a statement shared on Tuesday by the Jenta Adamu Central Youth Council on Facebook, the abductors have since contacted the victims’ families and demanded a ransom of N10 million per person, warning that failure to comply within a stipulated time could lead to the victims being killed.
