Former Deputy Campaign Manager of the Obi/Datti Presidential Campaign, Comrade Isaac Balami, on Friday led a group of Obidient leaders and professionals to a meeting with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Abuja.
At the meeting, they declared support for the president ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Balami, who joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) after the 2023 elections, citing what he called a lack of purposeful leadership in the Labour Party, formally presented the group’s structure to the APC.
The delegation included leaders of Obidient groups from the Middle Belt and North-Central, social media influencers, representatives of about 100 support groups nationwide, professional associations, journalists, religious leaders, and Igbo Obidient figures from both the North and South-East.
