Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, will not be able to stop Vinicius Junior from leaving the LaLiga club this summer.
According to AS, only club president Florentino Perez holds the power over Vinicius’ future at the Bernabeu.
The Brazilian winger is into the final months of his current contract and has been locked in negotiations for over a year.
The negotiations began before Mourinho was appointed as manager to replace Alvaro Arbeloa.
And although Mourinho likes Vinicius Jr and would love to keep him, the decision is out of his hands.
Vinicius Jr is attracting serious attention from Premier League winners Arsenal, who are ready to smash their wage structure to land the 26-year-old.
The player is expected to arrive in Madrid on Sunday and will hold talks with both Mourinho and Perez tomorrow.
