NESG appoints NLNG boss to board

The Nigerian Economic Summit Group has appointed the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria LNG Limited, Adeleye Falade, to its Board of Directors as part of efforts to strengthen its policy advocacy and private sector-led economic reform agenda.

The appointment was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Chief Executive Officer of the NESG, Dr Tayo Aduloju.

According to the statement, the appointment was announced during the NESG’s 2026 Annual General Meeting held on July 14, 2026, at the organisation’s Summit House in Lagos and virtually.

The annual meeting reviewed the group’s activities and financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025, and was attended by members of the board, auditors, company secretaries and other key stakeholders.

The statement said Falade’s appointment reflected the organisation’s commitment to strengthening its leadership with experienced professionals capable of advancing its mission of promoting sustainable economic development, inclusive growth
