Irish boxer hospitalised following 10th-round knockout

Irish boxer Lee Reeves is in a critical but stable condition in hospital after suffering a 10th-round knockout defeat to Gary Cully in their vacant BUI Celtic super-lightweight title bout at Dublin’s 3Arena on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old Limerick fighter was stretchered from the ring following the contest and taken to hospital for medical treatment.

As reported by BBC Sport, Queensberry Promotions confirmed on Sunday that Reeves remains in a critical but stable condition.
