Big Brother Naija reality star and comedian, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, popularly known as DeeOne, has clinched the Lagos State House of Assembly ticket for Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1 under the BOOT Party.
DeeOne secured the candidacy after emerging victorious in the party’s primary election.Reacting to his win, the entertainer took to Instagram on Wednesday night to express gratitude to his party for the confidence reposed in him.
He pledged to serve the people of Ibeju Lekki with dedication if elected.“I want to thank my party, BOOT Party, for trusting me and voting for me to emerge winner of the primary election for Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1.
“To Ibeju Lekki Constituency 1, come 2027 by the grace of God, I will be your worker and not your boss,” he wrote.
With this victory, DeeOne now sets his sights on the 2027 general elections, promising a people-centered approach to leadership.
