A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, has urged President Bola Tinubu to seek re-election in 2027 based on the performance of his administration rather than political rhetoric, saying Nigerians will judge the government by its record in office.
Speaking on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Monday, the Ovation Magazine publisher said the outcome of the 2027 presidential election would largely depend on how Nigerians assess the performance of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
According to him, the President does not face personal animosity from Nigerians but must convince voters that his administration has delivered tangible results.
“The 2027 election will not be difficult for Tinubu if he can show the records of his performance. Nobody hates him personally. Nobody wants to pick him out because they just don’t like him. It is about performance.
