Former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose has boldly predicted that President Bola Tinubu would defeat major opposition figures like Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi even if the 2027 presidential election were held ten times.
Fayose made the remarks during an interview on EKTV, responding to growing calls on social media for President Tinubu to resign amid escalating insecurity across the country. He urged patience, noting that Tinubu still has time left in his current term.
“A lot of people on social media are asking Tinubu to resign now, but I’m saying you don’t need to fight because he still has one year left,” Fayose said.
He argued that supporters of Atiku and Obi are simply seeking to replace one leader with another, but insisted that Tinubu’s political strength and resilience would prevail.
