A chieftain of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Datti Baba-Ahmed, has said former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke, would defeat President Bola Tinubu and Labour Party’s Peter Obi in a free, fair, and credible election.
Speaking in an interview on Symfoni TV, Baba-Ahmed described Duke recently announced as the PRP’s presidential candidate as one of Nigeria’s most qualified political figures.
He argued that Duke’s leadership credentials and national appeal remain underappreciated by many Nigerians.
“In a free and fair election in Nigeria, Donald Duke is the winner,” Baba-Ahmed declared.He further cautioned that just as many underestimated Peter Obi before the 2023 elections, Nigerians risk making a similar mistake with Duke’s prospects in 2027.
