The Director of News, Arise Television, Sumner Sambo, says the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, cannot give the Obidient Movement the required leadership.
Featuring in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ on Wednesday, Sambo urged Obi to structure the movement beyond his political ambition, stating that the movement is greater than himself.
He likened the group to the Nnamdi Azikiwe’s supporters, Zikist movement, of the 1940s-1950s, saying even if Obi does not make it to be president in 2027, the group would still continue.
