Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr is set to sign a new six-year contract with the Spanish giants, with the deal expected to be officially announced soon.
The deal will put an end over speculation over his future amid reported interest from Premier League side Arsenal.
Fabrizio Romano on X on Thursday, “Vinicius Jr new six-year contract at Real Madrid, set to be signed and announced soon. Vini always wanted to stay at Real Madrid, Florentino Pérex always considered Vini as key part of the project. José Mourinho also heavily involved.”
The Brazil international has always expressed his desire to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu, while club president Florentino Pérez continues to view Vinicius as a key figure in Real Madrid’s long-term project.
The new agreement is expected to reinforce the winger’s status as one of the club’s most important players after several seasons of outstanding performances.
