
A former member representing Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Ismaila Kolawole, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress.
Kolawole, who represented Ila State Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly between 2003 and 2007 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, was elected into the House of Representatives in 2007 and spent four years at the Green Chamber.
He is an ally of ex-APC National Secretary, Dr Iyiola Omisore.
In his resignation letter dated June 7, obtained by The PUNCH on Sunday, Kolawole said he resigned from APC for “personal peace, inner mind rest and self-respect.”
Another chieftain of the party, Olajide Adeyeye, a two-term member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ife East State Constituency, also announced his resignation from the APC.
