Our Mother Didn’t Want Jude to Manage P-Square – Henry Okoye Reveals

Henry Okoye, the eldest brother of the defunct music duo P-Square, has revealed that their late mother, Josephine Okoye, did not support Jude Okoye taking over management of the group.

Speaking in an interview with social commentator ‘Jos Connection’ at the family’s residence in Plateau State, Henry recounted his early role in sponsoring Peter and Paul’s music career before Jude became involved.

“When they started music, they were looking for sponsors. They didn’t see any. When I started sponsoring them, Jude was not there,” Henry said. He recalled taking the brothers to performances, funding their travels, and even acting as their bodyguard. 

“We just took it as a family thing but we knew that it’s Peter and Paul that own it. We were only supporting them.”

Henry alleged that Jude’s later involvement disrupted earlier agreements, including a promised 20 per cent share for him.
