The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has said Vice President Kashim Shettima’s upcoming visit underscores President Bola Tinubu’s confidence in Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s leadership.
Shettima, on his second official trip to the state, is scheduled to inaugurate the 1.2-kilometre Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Flyover at Okeyinmi, perform the groundbreaking for the Ekiti Knowledge Zone, and commission other key projects.
APC State Publicity Secretary, Segun Dipe, described the visit as proof of growing alignment between federal priorities and state delivery.
“These projects embody the convergence of ‘Renewed Hope’ at the federal level and ‘Shared Prosperity’ at the state level,” he said.
Dipe added that the visit deepens collaboration on infrastructure and economic development, while sending a political signal of continuity ahead of the June 20, 2026 governorship election and the January 2027 presidential poll.
He noted that Oyebanji’s administration has delivered visible results in roads, pensions, and governance systems, reinforcing voter confidence.
