TETFund inaugurates 40-room hostels at Bauchi varsity

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund has inaugurated two 40-room female hostels at Sa’adu Zungur University, Bauchi State.

According to a statement by the university’s Public Relations Officer, Auwal Hassan, the projects, located at the institution’s Gadau Main Campus and Yuli Campus, were commissioned under the Presidential Commissioning of the 2024 TETFund Annual Intervention Projects.

Speaking during the ceremony at the Gadau Main Campus, the Executive Secretary of TETFund, Sonny Echono, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Bauchi State Ministry of Higher Education and Regional Integration, Isa Tahir, said the projects were designed to improve accommodation and enhance students’ welfare.

He described the hostels as symbols of the government’s commitment to quality education and student welfare.

According to him, the facilities will provide a secure and conducive environment for students to live, learn and realise their potential.
