
The Bauchi State Police Command has recovered a stolen motor vehicle and arrested three suspects allegedly linked to its theft and subsequent sale.
The Command’s spokesperson, Nafi’u Habib, disclosed this in a statement dated Monday and made available on Tuesday in Bauchi.
According to him, the complainant, a 53-year-old resident of Danjuma Goje Street, Bauchi, reported the theft of his black Honda vehicle, a 2000 model with chassis number JHGC9564614804512.
Habib said the vehicle, which was stolen in March 2026, was reported to the police on June 8, prompting an immediate response by operatives attached to the ‘A’ Division Township.
“The complainant, a 53-year-old man and resident of Danjuma Goje Street, Bauchi, reported the theft of his Honda vehicle on June 8, 2026. The vehicle is a 2000 model, black in colour, with chassis number JHGC9564614804512. It was stolen in March 2026,” he said.
