Martins and Mercedes have become the first two Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) ‘Show Ya Sef’ housemates to be evicted from the 2026 edition of the reality show.
The reality stars were asked to leave the house on Sunday night during the live eviction show after pulling the lowest votes for the week.
Earlier in the week, each housemate was tasked with saving three fellow contestants.
While the four most-saved housemates were initially declared safe, Sheba exercised her head of house privilege to save Chimsom Chuka, subsequently replacing him with Cassi, who had originally been among the top four.
The decision resulted in only Tram, Barry, Goddessa and Chimsom securing immunity for the week. That automatically put the remaining 19 housemates up for possible eviction.
