Imo Strikers Queens Football Club have demanded the payment of ₦15 million allegedly owed by Osun Babes Football Club following a slot exchange agreement between the two clubs.
The Imo-based women’s football club made the demand in a petition dated August 7, 2026, addressed to the management of Osun Babes and copied to relevant authorities in Osun State.
The petition was also forwarded to Osun State Governor, the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, the Chairman of the Osun State Sports Council and the Chairman of the Osun State Football Association.
Imo Strikers Queens said the disputed sum represented the outstanding balance arising from an agreement reached with Osun Babes over the exchange of a league slot.
According to the petition, “the club’s position is supported by documentary evidence, including a letter allegedly issued by Osun Babes on December 22, 2025.
