CEVA Logistics and EFL Africa have announced the formation of a joint venture in Nigeria, known as CEVA EFL Limited, as both companies seek to expand their operations in the country and strengthen their presence in West Africa.
The partners said in a statement that the venture combines EFL’s operations in Nigeria with CEVA Logistics’ global network and logistics capabilities.
According to the companies, the joint venture will provide integrated logistics services to businesses in Nigeria and neighbouring markets, leveraging CEVA’s presence in more than 170 countries.
The venture will offer services including dedicated barge operations for the movement of shipping containers from Lagos ports to Inland Container Depots, reducing reliance on road transport and shortening transit times.
