2027: Atiku, Obi, Duke’s alliance, exercise in futility — Tinubu’s men

ABUJA – Supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid under the aegis of the Renewed Hope Project 2027 have dismissed the planned alliance among opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Donald Duke and other political actors, describing the move as no threat to the rAll Progressives Congress, APC.

The group made the declaration, yesterday, in Abuja during the inauguration and official unveiling of the Renewed Hope Project 2027, held under the theme, “A New Beginning, A Shared Vision, With Greater Nigeria.”

The group spoke as the G100, a coalition of concerned Nigerians, said it has concluded a first round of consultations with leaders of six opposition political parties, including Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress ADC; Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the Nigeria Democratic Congress NDC; Seyi Makinde’s Allied Peoples Movement APM and others, as
