Former Inspector-General of Police and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Jigawa South-West Senatorial District in the 2027 election, Suleiman Abba, has said he has no regrets over his role in ensuring that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari, was declared the winner of the 2015 presidential election.
Abba stated this while speaking with journalists at the official flag-off of his campaign at the PDP headquarters in Dutse, the Jigawa State capital.
He said that despite being denied the opportunity to contest for the Senate under the APC at the time, he remained convinced that his actions during the 2015 presidential election were in the interest of peace, law and order.
