Gasgruppal Plc, a trading company, operating under the name of Gasgroup brand, is targeting a listing on the Main Board of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) as it moves to transform its business from an oil and gas services company into an integrated refining, gas and energy-infrastructure group.
The proposed listing, which is expected to be by introduction, is designed to strengthen the company’s corporate governance, raise its profile in Nigeria’s capital market and provide a platform for accessing funding for its next phase of expansion.
Gliffeth Wonuigwe, chief executive officer of Gasgruppal, disclosed this to BusinessDay in Abuja, while speaking to journalists on the company’s expansion plans.
According to Wonuigwe, the proposed listing would create an organised market for the company’s shares, improve price discovery and provide eligible investors with an opportunity to participate in its long-term growth.
Under the proposed structure, the company’s existing ordinary shares would be admitted
