The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) has urged insurance professionals to strengthen collaboration, uphold integrity and embrace continuous learning as the industry seeks to raise its standards and deepen its contribution to Nigeria’s financial services sector.
Akinjide Orimolade, president/chairman of the Council, CIIN, gave the charge at the Institute’s 2026 Annual Family Picnic held at Eleko Beach, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
Orimolade said the industry’s progress over the years reflected the collective efforts of professionals who had continued to pursue innovation, professionalism and excellence.
He described the annual picnic not merely as a social gathering but as an opportunity to reinforce the relationships and fellowship that underpin the insurance profession.
“Through collaboration, innovation and an unwavering pursuit of excellence, we have continued to elevate the standards of our profession and reinforce the insurance industry’s position as a vital pillar of Nigeria’s financial services sector,” he said.
