Rivers State is no longer regarded as an educationally disadvantaged state. Rather, the state is seen as one of the topmost breeders of some of Nigeria’s most educated products.
This much have been attested to in the British Council supervised international examinations in both the Ordinary and Advanced Levels (Cambridge). Most times, schools from Rivers State snatch the topmost positions in scores. Products of schools in the zone have topped classes in universities around the world with First Class and Valedictorians.
