Concerns Raised as APC Protests Nigeria First Lady’s Exclusion from Anambra Visit, Challenges Soludo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State has protested the alleged exclusion of the party and its women’s wing from arrangements for the visit of the First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, to the state on Thursday.

The party, however, congratulated and welcomed the First Lady to Anambra despite the development, accusing the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) of deceiving President Bola Tinubu with its mantra of “Progressives Working Together.”

The protest was contained in a statement on Monday in Awka, the Anambra State capital, signed by the state Secretary of the APC, Obi Okpala, and made available to reporters.

The APC said it only became aware of the arrangements through an announcement by the office of the First Lady of Anambra State, Nonye Soludo.
