NCS Strengthens Commitment to Industrial Growth and Youth Development in Kwara

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Kwara Area Command, has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting youth development, community security and industrial growth through stronger collaboration with key stakeholders in the State.

Najeem Akanmu Ogundeyi, Acting Area Controller, Kwara Area Command, Deputy Comptroller of Customs, stated this during the 17th edition of the Kwara State Commissioner of Police Cup held at the Kwara Football Academy Field, George Innih Stadium, Ilorin.

The grassroots Under-13 and Under-17 football tournament, organised by the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), Kwara State branch, in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force, featured male and female athletes from across the state.

Ogundeyi commended the Kwara State Police Command for sustaining the tournament over 17 editions, saying initiatives that engage young people constructively could contribute to crime prevention, community security, social cohesion and broader development.
