The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Chief Chimaobi Anyaso, has marked his 46th birthday with the donation of a brand new, fully equipped ambulance to support healthcare delivery in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Speaking during the presentation on Tuesday, the philanthropist said the gesture was part of his annual birthday tradition of giving back to the community and supporting the state Governor, Alex Otti’s, investments in the health sector.
“This is my sincere pleasure and honour to give back to the land that gave birth to me. Every year on my birthday, I celebrate with people. I do outreach,” he said.
He recalled that last year, he donated vehicle materials, food items and other support to the Nigeria Correctional Centre in Umuahia and also supported nursing students at the Abia State Teaching Hospital.
